Craig Carpenter is on a wild journey following his dreams. He recently founded and launched RELAY, a revolutionary graphics app for social marketers.

Confidence in yourself can come from a variety of avenues. For Craig it came down to clarity of vision and encouragement from his peers.

This is a story about courage and taking steps into the the only journey that matters, your individual unique journey. It’s taken Craig more time than he would have liked to get where he is today, with an app that resonates with his strengths, ability, and passion.

Also, this interview was conducted live in the Buzzsprout studio at Podcast Movement 2015 and it was streamed it to Parascope and Meerkat (recording below).

This was an exhilarating experience for me. I was pushing against my limits and as nervous as I was, it was worth every minute of it.

A bit about Craig Carpenter RELAY Founder

Craig Carpenter is unashamed about the hurdles he’s “smashed into an failed miserably” at. He’s a creative in nature and a geek for design. He loves building on other people’s dreams through ideas.

He shares about patience, how we need to allow things to happen in the timeframe they need to happen. Moving from self-employment to entrepreneur was not easy. It was a struggle. Time was something that Craig had little of but he absolutely had to push through the moments.

Pressures squeeze the time frame that we have to work on our project.

Clarity and Encouragement

When we look at everyone else it’s easy to get jealous. But if we can look at what they are doing, we will see examples of people who are clear with who they are. They are following one path.

We also learn more about how discouragement crept in when Craig dreamed up his graphics app RELAY.

Tune into the 6 minute mark to learn more about the biggest obsicle that Craig found himself up against: feeling drowned out in a competitive world of graphic apps.

Find out what he did to overcome the discouragement.

Now it’s your turn

Side Note: I purchased RELAY (at full price) and it’s amazing! Additionally I received no affiliate income for conducting this interview or sharing Craig’s story. Even still, I am a raving fan!
