Three practical ways a gentleman protects his lady
1) Always walk on the curb side of the road
Being ready to protect those you walk with from oncoming traffic is the key here.
2) Give up your jacket
Man up and bear the cold. This is a chance to gain some willpower and perseverance.
3) Escort her to the door
It’s your job to make sure that your lady is safe. You can maximize this safety and trust she has in you by escorting her to safety. This should be automatic to the aware gentleman.
